Are My Reasons Valid

So I met a guy who really liked me and was very generous. He spent a lot on me, even on unnecessary things. We dated for a while and eventually, I decided to visit him. 

When I got to his end, I was surprised. For someone who spends so much on a girl, he lived in just a single room with a mattress, a wardrobe and a small TV. I asked why he wasn’t living in a bigger place, at least an apartment or something, and he said he didn’t see the need for that since he lived alone. When I asked where his mum and siblings lived, he said he just booked them a guest house.

 I advised him to get a bigger place since he could afford it. Eventually, we found a place and I helped him furnish it. He was really grateful. His mum visited on Friday and now he wants to introduce me to her, but im not ready for that. I don’t see him as someone I’d want to marry. He relies on me for everything. Constantly seeking my advice before making any decision. If I tell him to eat, he eats. If I tell him to sit, he sits. I don’t want that. I want someone who challenges me. Someone I can learn from. Not someone who just follows my lead.

 I dunno if I’m making sense. But are my reasons valid?

I have messed up BIG TIME

 So I am in a relationship. We've been together since 2022. Nice dude, everything fine, you know. I thought sex life too was fine until he travelled.  He went away briefly(8 months).
