Red flag or Nah?

 Guys I need your opinion on this

So I noticed my boyfriend doesn’t call me If I don’t call him and I complained about it. He said he doesn’t have airtime and blah blah blah… But I noticed he also doesn’t update me on how his day is going and always bails out on conversations until I initiate it again.

Two days ago, I was going out and informed him via text. He went offline and I decided not to text him. I got back from where I went and still, he hadn’t replied. I texted him around 5:30pm and it ticked once. He texted back at 9:50pm as if nothing happened and posted that his light was out from 9:20 to 9:30pm. We didn’t talk that night, and the same thing happened yesterday. He called around 9pm and said I couldn’t call to check up on him to see if he’s alive or not na he just got back from town. I said I know he’s alive and he replied by saying okay later.

He then sent a message asking why I’m giving him attitude and I told him this whole thing feels one-sided and I’m only trying to adjust. He just said my bad and that he’ll do better. I also replied with a sticker and that was it. Till now, he hasn’t texted again but has posted on his WhatsApp status.

Am I overthinking this? Or it’s actually a red flag

I have messed up BIG TIME

 So I am in a relationship. We've been together since 2022. Nice dude, everything fine, you know. I thought sex life too was fine until he travelled.  He went away briefly(8 months).
